Social Justice Through Poetry

One of the main reasons I became a teacher is to show students they can have an impact on our world today. This project-based unit not only showcases poetry and rhetoric from movements past, but helps students to connect the past to the present. Featuring an incredible online guide/digital repository named "Billy Shakes", this unit is sure to be a cornerstone of my pedagogy for years to come.
